Purpose

Today we slow down and seek understanding.

Yesterday we simply sat with the words of Jesus.

Today we begin exploring what He was saying and how His first listeners may have understood His words.

The goal is not to gather information for its own sake.

The goal is to listen carefully and discover what the passage reveals about God.
